With just a few simple ingredients, you can easily recreate this delicious treat right at home. Follow our guide below to whip up your own, or check out our YouTube video for the step-by-step!

What You'll Need:

  • A shot of espresso (we recommend our Brazil Medium Roast Coffee)
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar (depending on your sweetness preference)
  • Dash of cinnamon (optional, but highly recommended)
  • 1/4 cup of oat milk (or your preferred milk of choice)
  • A handful of ice and your favorite glass 🫶

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. First you're going to mix 2 tablespoons of brown sugar with a splash of water until its a syrupy consistency.

2. Brew a strong shot of espresso, we really recommend our Bizarre Brazil Medium Roast Coffee - we use it as our espresso base for all drinks at the shops! If you don’t have an espresso machine, strong brewed coffee will work just as well. Make sure it’s hot!

3. Next pour the brown sugar syrup into your espresso, add a dash of cinnamon and stir.

4. Lastly, grab your favorite glass. Add in a handful of ice, pour in your milk of choice and top it with the espresso. Mix, sip & enjoy your Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte!

Pro Tip:

If you're looking for a cold foam finish, froth your oat milk before adding it to the espresso. This extra step gives your drink that coffee-shop quality finish, elevating your at-home barista skills!

Customizing Your Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte:

1. Spice It Up:
Want to take your latte to the next level? Try adding a pinch of nutmeg or cloves to the mix. These spices pair well with cinnamon and will give your drink a warm, autumn vibe.

2. Sweetener Alternatives:
While brown sugar is the star, you can also try honey, agave syrup, or vanilla syrup for different levels of sweetness and flavor profiles. Each one will give your latte a unique twist.

3. Milk Variety:
Not a fan of oat milk? Don’t worry. Try it with almond milk for a nutty flavor or coconut milk for a tropical hint. If you're feeling adventurous, go for macadamia milk—it’s smooth, creamy, and delicious!

4. Iced or Hot:
Although this recipe is for a chilled version, you can easily transform it into a warm drink for cooler months. Simply omit the ice, warm up your milk, and enjoy a cozy, cinnamon-infused latte.

Latte Hacks for Coffee Lovers:

1. Make it Stronger:
If you love a bolder coffee taste, simply add an extra shot of espresso or brew your coffee stronger. This will balance the sweetness and give your latte an extra kick of caffeine.

2. Ice, Ice, Baby:
Want your iced latte to stay cold without watering it down? Freeze leftover brewed coffee in ice cube trays and use coffee cubes instead of regular ice. It’s a game-changer for keeping your drink flavorful to the last drop.

3. Make it Dessert-Worthy:
Transform your latte into a dessert treat by topping it with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel or cinnamon sugar. You could even add a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers for a s'mores-inspired twist.
